Leadership Workshop With STEM Activities

Our programs are designed to support school programs such as Summer Rising programs, summer camps, to supplement after school programs.
Anti-Bullying
1) How do we treat our friends, finding outlets to relieve our stress and anger?
Description- students discover who their friends are, how to treat and hold onto good friends, create a skit based on their experience that was revealed through their learning experience.
2)What’s the golden rule?
Description- students discover what is the golden rule, understand what it means and how to apply it then create a skit
Mentoring
Mentors- are trained and equipped with learning materials to enrich and build their relationships with their mentees.
Outcome- Valuable leader in the community helping to inspire and motivate children to reach their full potential
S.T.E.A.M.
1) How do helicopters work?
Description-Students will recognize parts of a helicopter, create their own helicopter, the importance of helicopters, create graphs and learn how they work. At the end, students fly various remote machines.
2) Who wants to learn coding; Scratch, Python, Minecraft?
Description- Students learn how to create software applications and become innovative. They can, also, learn how to use Minecraft Mod to create, and share amazing mods, and turn their mod ideas into reality.
3) Saving our environment
Description- Students learn and discuss climate change, discover ways to help our environment, experiment with different substances that can help save our environment and create a plan for their community.
4) Mad Scientist
Description- Students tinker with different materials to create new objects, learn about polymers, explore different substances to create new substances or watch the reactions such as making snow
5) Building a solar powered vehicle
Description- Students will learn about solar power, students will tinker with different materials to create new objects, students will work in teams and test out different ways to make their car work.
6) Let’s Learn About Electricity
Description- Students will explore electricity, discover electrons, learn about static electricity, conductors and insulators, discover devices that use that use electrons to work.
7) Let’s Talk about Physics
Description- Gravity, Movement, and Patience. Students learn about how you move, why do we move, what causes us to move…or not move? Students will explore gravity or friction or energy. Students will learn that with every step, every action and every turn of the head, they will be using something known as physics.
8) Newton’s Laws
Description-Newton was able to connect the dots of gravity, friction, and the way things move. Students will explore the first of his Three Laws of Motion that incorporate moving and stationary objects and how something called inertia is involved with both.
Social Emotional Learning
1) Meet The Author Event (Coming soon)
Description
Lower grades: The author will come and read the book, and do activities with the students. Upper grades: Students will read the book then students get to meet the author.
2) Drama
Description- creating skits for example to show different ways to handle real life situations
3) I Love Myself
Description- work on various projects, and discover strengths to learn what makes themselves unique.
5) R-E-S-P-E-C-T
Description- students will discuss and learn the value of respect for themselves and others
6) Can you feel the beat?
Music Appreciation: Description- Students will learn the history of Djembe drum, explore its importance in culture and play the Djembe drum
7) Sports/Fitness/Yoga

1) Pre assessment and post assessment
2) Tutor in all subjects (K-8) ELL and Students with Disabilities Materials and free online educational programs (24/7 hour access) are included in the fee
